Jeremiah House is a Christian community house of hospitality, starting up January 2009.  Those living in the house will be using their gifts and passions to creatively seek fresh ways of being Church with and to the neighbourhood in the west end of Toronto (Dundas West/Dufferin area.  The intention is for 5-7 folks to live together in the house (for a minimum of a year) and to:
  • create relationships in the community
  • seek to live simply, justly and prayerfully
  • practice hospitality in various forms
  • be involved in re-imagining Church in the neighbourhood!
Jeremiah House is part of a project that is sponsored by the Anglican Diocese of Toronto, and the house will be at St. Anne’s Church Rectory.  It will be part intentional community, and part Anglican church plant. Though the ‘tribe’ is Anglicanism, committed Christians of all stripes are welcomed to be part of both the live-in and extended community.
